Project aims to develop Machine Learning methods for estimating the number of visitors to natural spaces in the UK, in a collaborative project between the University of Exeter and Natural England as part of the RENEW project.
Access to natural spaces is important for well-being and protecting these spaces is crucial for biodiversity. The REAM project aim to support effective planning and land use for natural spaces by developing scalable Machine Learning models to predict footfall on paths in the UK.
