Dr Remy Vandaele

Environmental Intelligence Research Fellow

Remy is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Department of Computer Science at University of Exeter, affiliated with the Centre for Environmental Intelligence. His research interests lie in using machine learning models for environmental monitoring, especially with cameras and remote sensing data. Examples include the development of a deep learning model to monitor trash screen blockage using cameras, as well as the development of geospatial foundation models to monitor carbon production using Sentinel-3 data.
